Since
today technology has been a part of our life and its can reach to almost every
part of the world, the news which existing everyday and I wonder why everyday
there are many news that harm people (in term of writing news about people)
especially one of the issues that I always see on the website about is that
actors and actress around the world.
In
general, actors and actress consider as a public people who are on the films, television,
magazine, and so on, and they very famous. However, is it right that when
reporter write the news about them in the negative way which sometimes or most
of the time its not true? For example, one of the TV programme in Thailand
always talk bad about the actor and actress, it always bring up the issue that
very sensitive, such as that actor is a gay, that actress commit adultery with
another guy, that actress is smoking. I know and most of the people also know
that they are public people and they have to represent a good image to the
public, but sometime we also have to think that they are human too, they can
have their own lifestyle.
Moreover,
I think that these issues are very bad; because its mean you impute those
people without asking permission or asking that it is true or fake story.
Sometimes that might make people in the public think that they are bad people,
do not deserved to be an actor or actress and also discredit them, more worse
when they have nobody hire for work anymore. That could make a person become an
unemployed people. Thus, in my point of view; it is ethical to accuse people
without acknowledge from them.
However,
in term of the reporters, I know that it is a job that they have to present the
news to the public; they know most of the actors and actress are good people
and know that the news that they present is wrong. But as a work they have to
even that is ethical to impute people. If there have no news to talk about they
also have no job to do. However, there is no cure because actors and actress
are work closely to each other. Actors/ actress can stand in the public because
have the reporters support them and represent their news, as same as reporters
without actors/ actress they also do not have story to talk about in everyday.
In addition, even sometimes reporters make story by themselves and in the end
they conclude it by themselves too. Its sound so weird sometimes.
Moreover,
people who comment badly or judge people on the website and social network
about actors and actress. Surely, Internet opens free for public and anyone can
do whatever he or she want, but in my opinion, I think that is not ethical to
comment bad on people. Not only discredit people but that also you become a
person who having bad attitude, in additional nowadays, many children under age
also surfing on Internet, when they read some comments on the website, they
might not know what is good or bad. Thus, that can harm on children and they
will have a bad attitude in their life in the future too.
